Brotherhood of Mutants (Current Added Roster)

With the first incarnation of the Brotherhood of Mutants in this alternate Marvel Universe falling apart due to Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch turning against Magneto and his terrorist agenda as well as Mastermind, the Blob and Unus soon following due to choosing to pursue personal power & wealth on their own accord rather than continue to dedicate themselves to the Brotherhood's long term goals of mutant domination and power. Only Magneto, Toad and Arclight remained.

This turn of events does not hamper Magneto of course as he continues on with his agenda, choosing to go out alone to commit acts of terror as he did prior to the formation of the Brotherhood of Mutants as well as seek out other mutants to potentially fill the ranks for a revived incarnation of the Brotherhood of Mutants. It is only after Magneto encounters and takes on the current active team of the X-Men, who push him to the limit and almost succeed in capturing him, that he realizes the need for a active Brotherhood of Mutants to counter this new team of X-Men and other superhuman entities/groups that could potentially oppose his goals of mutant dominance.


Magneto is eventually successful in recruiting a far more powerful and seemingly mutant domination centric group of mutants to form the current incarnation of the Brotherhood of Mutants.  Along with himself, Toad and Arclight, Magneto's current Brotherhood consists of:



                        MYSTIQUE, SABRETOOTH and JUGGERNAUT

Magneto is able to gain these three active mutants to his cause, with both Mystique and Juggernaut genuinely on board with Magneto's vision for world domination and Sabretooth's motivation for joining simply to indulge his savage tendencies on a much wider scale as well as using the Brotherhood as an avenue to attack/destroy Wolverine and his “family” of the X-Men whenever the two mutant groups come into conflict.  Mystique since joining the Brotherhood has become Magneto's second in command taking an active role in helping Magneto plan the strategies and pick the targets that the Brotherhood utilize or strike against.



                                                 FROST

The mutant telepath known as Emma Frost in this alternate Marvel Universe remains an individual born of wealth and status but despite this seems eager to lend both her mutant abilities and her financial resources to Magneto's cause of mutant domination, simply using her last name as her mutant alias as a member of the Brotherhood.  However unbeknownst to Magneto or any of the other members of the current Brotherhood of Mutants, she is an active member of the Inner Circle (this universe's incarnation of the Hellfire Club) a covert group of powerful mutants, who like herself, hold positions of wealth and influence in society (while of course keeping their status as mutants hidden) and secretly use their power and influence to manipulate various situations between humans and mutants in an attempt at setting themselves up as the potential mutant masters of the world.  Frost's membership in the Brotherhood of Mutants is the Inner Circle's way to secretly allow her to influence Magneto and the Brotherhood's actions in ways that will help the overall agenda of the Inner Circle to achieve global domination for themselves.  Frost is also responsible for the suggestion of creating the Acolytes of this alternate universe who serve as Magneto's version of the Xavier Institute's mutants in training class.  Frost has elected to be in charge of training the young mutants that have thus far been gathered under the Brotherhood's fold, with her true purpose being to groom these young mutants for serves to the Inner Circle.    

                                      AVALANCHE and PYRO

The mutants Dominikos Petrakis (Avalanche) and St. John Allerdyce  (Pyro) in this alternate universe are active criminal partners operating primarily in Europe when they are approached by Magneto.  The two join the Brotherhood due to a belief in Magneto's mutant domination agenda as well as the opportunity to elevate their criminal standing and reputation by being associated with the notorious mutant terrorist.  Both retain the same mutant abilities as normal comic continuity.  



                                           THE DRAGONESS

She is this alternate universe's incarnation of the mutant known as Angel Salvadore, who is born with a dragon like physiology and abilities rather than the insectoid like physiology and abilities of normal comic continuity. Angel retains her backstory of growing up in a dysfunctional and abusive home in her youth, which plays a large part in her choosing to become a part of Magneto's new Brotherhood as she hopes to make a better world under mutants, one without the same abuses and cruelty that she suffered in her youth.  Angel as the Dragoness possesses heightened strength, agility, speed and reflexes as well as durable spiked leather armor like skin and wings that provide resistance to most forms of injury and attacks, with the wings of course giving the Dragoness the ability of flight.  She also possesses the ability to generate and discharge fire like plasma energy from her mouth.
