Cloak and Dagger

Tyrone Johnson & Tandy Bowen in this alternate Marvel Universe were two runaways living on the streets when they along with several other homeless & street people were snatched up by thugs in the employ of criminal scientist Jonas Harrow,who were sent out to gather homeless people to use as test subjects for Harrow's latest scientific experiment.  Harrow was attempting to create a drug that would endow individuals with superhuman abilities based on their subconscious image of themselves.  Of the numerous street people that were forced to take the drug only Johnson & Bowen survive the transformation the drug triggers & develop superhuman abilities.  Johnson develops the ability to generate an impenetrable cloak of mind numbingly cold darkness, heightened strength, reflexes, speed and the ability to teleport by way of using shadows & darkness as points of egress & exit.  Bowen develops the ability to generate  intense “soul light”  as well as fire off “soul daggers” as an offensive attack.  Her strength, reflexes & speed have also been heightened.  Calling themselves Cloak & Dagger the two  wage  war on Harrow after their transformation for the suffering & death he caused by way of his drug experiment & testing with circumstances leading to their meeting & teaming with Spider-Man in an attempt to bring Harrow to justice.  Cloak & Dagger now serve as the unofficial protectors of the defenseless who live on the streets against both threats normal & superhuman.
