Quasar

Phyla-Vell in this alternate Marvel universe is the younger (by three years) of the two offspring of the former Kree born Universal Protector Mar-Vell and the Titan Eternal Elysius.  Like her older brother Genis, Phyla was born with the latent ability of cosmic awareness inherited from her father as well as superhuman strength, regenerative powers, and energy manipulation abilities as part of her Eternal heritage.  And like her brother when their father's old foe, Thanos, whom Mar-Vell died along with saving the universe from the Mad Titan's final twisted scheme to appease the universal embodiment of Death was resurrected as Death's avatar to bring “balance” to the universe that seemed to have achieved a level of peace due to the efforts of Mar-Vell, Phyla decided she too would follow in her father's heroic legacy in opposing Thanos as well as other potential threats to the universe taking on the name of Quasar.  

Phyla, who took an interest in Titan science when she, her mother and brother came to reside on Titan after her father's death, would use the scientific skills and knowledge she had gained over the years living on Titan to create her version of the modified Kree Nega Bands used by her brother in his role as the new Universal Protector, the Crusader.  Calling her version the Quantum Bands due to the bands abilities to tap into her natural energy manipulation abilities and use them to allow Phyla to jump from one point in space to another covering great distances in a fraction of the time it normally would.  Phyla is able to achieve this due to Kronos unlocking and modifying her cosmic awareness to lock on to and track all existing wormholes in space.  Her Quantum Bands also allow her to combine her natural energy manipulation abilities with the unique photon energy generation abilities of the original Nega Bands themselves.  Phyla also formed an apprentice type relationship with Moondragon who has helped Phyla achieve greater mental focus in employing her modified cosmic awareness abilities.

Besides being one of the various heroes who stand opposed to the resurrected Thanos, Phyla has  confronted various other threats both from Earth and other worlds as well, most notable being   her brother's mutual enemy, the cyborg mercenary known as Nebula, who in this alternate universe is the daughter of their father's former Kree commanding officer and foe, Yon-Rogg, who has seemed to focus her animus for the Vell siblings more towards Phyla in their most recent encounters.
