Marvel Girl II

The heroic identity of Kamala Khan of this Alternate Marvel Universe.

Kamala’s overall background and Inhuman heritage remain the same, however the scenario of how her Inhuman shape shifting abilities are unlocked by Terrigen Mist is different in this alternate universe.  In this alternate universe Terrigen Mist is released across the Earth by Maximus the Mad in a grand scheme initially orchestrated to kill the normal human population and activate dormant Inhuman genes in ordinary people who are descendants of early Inhumans who left the Great Inhuman Refuge of Attilan.
 
Maximus had gained control of Terrigen Crystals and altered them so that humans without latent Inhuman or other enhanced (mutant) genes would die when exposed to the T-Mist he planned to unleash by way of a Terrigen Bomb.  Maximus was able to detonate his bomb despite the efforts of his brother Black Bolt and the other Inhuman Royals to prevent this.  Although the T-Mist succeeded in unlocking the latent abilities of humans with Inhuman genes, the T-Mist did not kill normal humans as Maximus had planned. Instead it made them violently ill for a 48 hour span of time before seemingly recovering.  The illness has since been deduced to be akin to an allergic reaction of normal human’s DNA to exposure to Maximus’ altered T-Mist.

Kamala is a teen age fan of superheroes especially of Carol Danvers aka Ms. Marvel.  After she is enveloped in T-Mist and gains her powers, she decides she wants to be a superhero like her idol Ms. Marvel so adopts a costume that pays homage to Danvers’ original teen-age Ms. Marvel costume and takes on the name of “Marvel Girl”.   Kamala would officially meet and become affiliated with her idol Ms. Marvel during her battle against the Kree Starforce in their efforts to reclaim the young hybrid Kree/Human Dan-Vell, the “genetic” offspring of Carol Danvers and the late Kree hero Mar-Vell.  Kamala has since gone on to befriend Dan-Vell aiding him in acclimating himself to life as an Earth teenager as well as teaming up with him and his “mother” for adventures on various occasions.

Kamala remains a polymorph, a person with the ability to stretch her body in any way she is able to imagine. She can also increase or decrease her size to both gigantic and tiny sizes. She can also selectively increase or decrease the size of any part of her body. Kamala’s abilities also her to shape-shift. She also possess healing abilities as her powers seem to allow her to heal wounds and injuries that she sustains since her abilities were activated.
